Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026
This policy explains how cancellations, date changes, and refunds are handled for flights booked through realtimefare.
1. Airline rules apply
Cancellation and date-change permissions and charges are set by the operating airline and the specific fare you booked. The fare rules shown at checkout are the definitive terms for your ticket. Some promotional fares are non-refundable except for statutory taxes.
2. How to cancel or change
Request a cancellation or change through your My Trips page or by contacting support at support@realtimefare.com with your Trip ID. We will process the request with the airline and confirm the applicable refund or change fee before proceeding where possible.
3. Charges
Any airline cancellation/change fee and non-refundable taxes are deducted from your refund. A realtimefare service/convenience fee is non-refundable once a ticket has been issued.
4. Refund method and timelines
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Once the airline releases the refund to us, we pass it on promptly; airlines typically settle refunds within 7–21 business days, and the time to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
5. Flight cancellations by the airline
If the airline cancels or significantly reschedules your flight, you are entitled to the airline's applicable remedy (re-accommodation or refund) as per its policy. We will help you claim it.
6. No-shows
No-show bookings are generally non-refundable except for any statutory taxes, subject to the airline's rules.
